Andreas Monopolis was born in Corfu in 1976. He collaborates with the
Department of Music of the Ionian University and he is a member of the
Electroacoustic Music Association of Greek Composers. His artistic impulse
is expressed not only through music, but also through images and materials,
as he also goes in for photography and constructions. By organizing several
music events and playing dj sets in different venues, he has managed to put
atmospheric alternations into audiovisual registers.
His main spurs stem from the natural and human environment as well as from
traveling… What the world of music is concerned, he hasn’t settled down yet.
As music events gather and gather, his aim is to make something identical to
music and sensations which he can then use for his personal ode...
